The Ether's Air

Would You Be There, Would You Be My Friend?

Hello All, Just thought id share my thoughts and let you know just how happy I am that I met Turin Brakes last night at Canterbury. Ok i know im 33 years old but this is something I would have written to Jim'll fix it for. Just so happy I got to meet them, and now i would love to put something whitty about how cool they were or down to earth they are (which of course they are) but im kinda struggling for words. Both me and my fiancee were just blown away.

Hey, I'm happy for you that you got to meet them... I think I actually spotted you at the gig right?

Hello Mate, Yeah my fiancee came to say hello just after the gig finished and i came over just after that, she was saying about your t-shirt. So im guessing you enjoyed the gig as much as me then? Did you stay over in Canterbury or head straight back home?

Hey,

Ah yes, I thought that was you (since you mentioned stockton) :). I really enjoyed it a lot... I was staying with people in London and we went back there on the same night... Then on Sunday I flew back home to the Netherlands. It was really good to see them live again after so long. Hopefully there'll be more of these intimate gigs later this year.

Yeah well their site certainly says something about them doing more of that this year. Cant believe we have to wait till January for the new album though. Loved the new tracks!!
